Creating all natural perfumes lately and loving it!

There is this connection with the vibration of  all things "alive" that is completely euphoric.
I've been spending most of my creation time working on the alchemy of botanical fragrances lately, and am finding it completely rewarding.
Finding inspiration from each botanical it's self, I can find no end to the possible formula's I can create.

Some that I have come up with lately I will post here.  Mostly, I find my self ever-still attracted to incense and Oriental blends (which I never tire of) with so many formulary possiblilities to keep me happy for a life time :)

Here's some of the latest:
"Black Cat" 100% natural perfume oil spray- Vegan Friendly Black Cat works nicely on both men and women. This hot fragrance starts off with top notes of almond and blood orange followed by warm spices, lots of woods, and dries down to reveal lusty henna leaf and very dark patchouli. My husband finds this one dangerously sexy so, the name reflects the mood :)
Fragrance Family: Wood/Spice - Time of day: Any - Mood: Sexy
Black Cat

 Artemisia

"Artemisia" 100% natural perfume oil spray
Vegan Friendly 1 fl oz in a glass, spray bottle. "Artemisia" was designed for a particular client of mine. She requested creating magick around 3 particular oils; Jasmine, rose, and artemesia. I started with an incense base, and combined all 3 of her choices, and added top notes of orange and a hint of pinapple. This is a lush, fun scent with lots of appeal and personality.

Fragrance Family: Incense - Time of day: Any - Mood: Sexy
Artemisia

"The Duir" 100% natural unisex perfume oil

The Duir is a forest green, incense fragrance. It's scent is reminiscent of a secret door leading one to Lothlorien, the magickal lands of the Fae. Top notes of apple, followed by green woods, dark woods, and a solid base of spicy incense. Very pretty on both genders. Fragrance Family:

Incense/green - Time of day: Any - Mood: Magickal

Cozy Bohemian with Gypsies & Bellydancers

Fall is serious time to cozy down for me, and as my hubby says "This place does not starve from coziness" :) For me, it's time to change the colors out on the pillows and covers, and bring out some of the richer tones in my house. We've decorated it in a World Traveler Bohemian style. Some rooms far more sedate than the balls to the walls South Asian Bohemian rooms influenced mainly by my Tribal Fusion Belly Dancing adoration. Belly Dancing is such a Female empowering form of  exercise, dedication and art originally created by women for women. This was not a dance created to entice the kings and shaws as once assumed.
 Belly
dancing is of course the inspiration for my Gypsies & Belly dancers line of perfume oils, most of which are all fall fragrances in my book. Cozy, rich, warm & spicy with tons of incense accord and bunches of mystery.
This month, I've come out with a perfume that embodies Tribal Style in a bottle, and I named it "Bohemian Rhapsody" with main accord of  sultry Egyptian musks and sandalwood, nag champa, and golden patchouli. It's out now to grab up in my Storenvy shop here.

"Wynter" Unisex Perfume Oil

Born from the extreme Summer heat, Wynter is a true unisex perfume oil that I so desperately needed an olfactory experience of, just to get some relief from the heat.
Another "different" fragrance that I have yet to smell that came from the depths of my imagination. How does that saying go? Something like: "Creativity is born from necessity". Yeah, in this case it's the truth. Love this one!

"Wynter" Gothic Victorian Fragrance for men and women.

It's Summer and it's so hot. Hot like never before. The warmer it gets, the more I miss the icy cool days of the waning sun, cuddling up next to a warming fireplace, and wearing my super fuzzy socks.

I created a perfume that to me, smells exactly like Winter, with ice covered ponds, lush green forests, the scent of a distant fireplace burning with the smell of smokey woods, minty cool winds from the North, and freshly cut fire wood.

Fragrance Family: Modern/Wood/Green - Season: Any but, if I had to choose, wear it in the Summer - Mood: Lively

*This product contains essential oils which should be allergy tested on the skin prior to wearing*

So, now that we have a winner, onto the perfumes! The Unseelie Court

I've come out with a couple more perfumes this year, and have a few on the "aging shelf" to see what they will morph into. Also in the works; someone contacted me and wanted to see what I could create by musing on a couple of "Yes" songs.
One being based on the song "South Side of the Sky' and/or the other song base on "Heart of the Sunrise" Challenge accepted!
I'm so in love with music from days of old, and especially anything "trippy". I'm on it. I'm leaning more on the side of "Heart of the Sunrise". Lot's of base driven notes (double entrendre's) and some wacked out "Yes" style riffs. No one said it would be easy.

So on to the current. Earlier this year I released "The Seelie Court" which was to be the other half of a Duo Concept fragrance couple. The other half of the duo to be named "The Unseelie Court". The dark and the light, the feminine and masculine, the sweet and the not so sweet but, when combined, the grey, the balanced, the sultry and the mysterious. 2 more personal favorites of mine, even more so when I layer the 2 together. The Unseelie Court being the masculine, dark, not so sweet based on Irish/Scotish Fae "Folklore" (will post more at that at the end of this post). Notice the word "folklore" in quotations. I do that to be straight as, The Fae are not a Fairy Tale but, could be best understood as "Shamanic earth energies'. That is to say that everything alive has energy, and sometimes these energies can not be seen. Almost always the case with the Fae.  On with the second half of the duo.

The Unseelie Court or Unblessed Court contains the most malicious, malevolent and evil of the faeries, and a number of monsters of horrible appearance and fearsome abilities as well. They comprise the Slaugh, or The Host, the band of the unsanctified dead who fly above the earth, stealing mortals and take great pleasure in harming humans.
Often called the ‘Unblessed Ones,’ the Unseelie were depicted as a dark cloud riding upon the wind from where their unnerving cackles and howls can be heard. Though not necessarily evil, they were far from kind. These unsavory characters tended towards evil and were often malignant. Some Scottish legends claim that the Unseelie were fallen Seelie, those who could not live up to the strict standards of chivalry of the shining court. They have no method of reproduction, so they enslave mortals whom they think would never be missed and carry them along to become one of them. The Unseelie Court was almost always out to harm, or at least bedevil and trick, humankind.
Some of the members of the Unseelie Court included:
The sluagh (the Hosts of the Unforgiven dead, akin to the Wild Hunt)Shellycoat (a trickster of the coasts)Redcap (a vicious fairy who drenched his cap with human blood)
Thanks to Montrous.com for the text

Although The Unseelie Court is a Unisex fragrance, it leans more towards the masculine, evoking a deep, hidden wooded forest. Dry woody notes of patchouli & black coffee essential oils, lush fir balsam essential oil, sandalwood, oud (agar wood) essential oil, oakmoss, and some other Fae secrets.
Fragrance Family: Wood/Green - Season: Any - Mood: Masculine/Sexy

Ladies, blend the 2 together. You'll smell unforgettable.

The Spinky Kitten blogs about Bloody Strumpets Perfume!

Being a "business" I can't always vent about well... whatever I want, and so I must live vicariously through other Bloggers and Facebook friends. I do so appreciate honesty, and although one may be upset about this or that - that they are venting about, I find my self both smiling, and feeling a sense of relief for them. The Spinky Kitten is one of those endearing Blogs. She also reviewed my "Bloody Strumpets perfume. You can read about it here.
I always wondered why this particular perfume oil got so little attention. It's one of the perfumes that when I fill up a bottle for someone, I say to myself, "Wow, that a great one", and wonder why it's sometimes avoided. Well Spinky Kitten had the answer! "It's the name" she said! She thought it was far too classy of a fragrance to have such a dirty, unappealing name. I however, like a bit of controversy and in fact, if not for my business sense (or lack there of) and my conscience, some of the names and concepts I come up with would be rated at least a hard core "R". I guess this is still why it's so important to never judge a book by it's cover, or in this case a perfume by it's name :)
Bloody Strumpets can be found here!
